The year was 1990. A friend and amazing musician said to me, "Mark, you put stars in all your art work. It would be cool if you could put them in your candles". A month later, I was making them. Candles with stars. They were well received.
I wanted to improve on the time it takes to complete these handcrafted candles, without mechanizing. My candles evolved. It turned out, it really was in the stars.
Crafted to burn a long time and look wonderful as they do so. As an added bonus, some of the stars contain blacklight reactive dyes.
Because these candles are handcrafted; size, weight, burn times, and color will vary. This makes every candle unique.
Handcrafted, using 100% paraffin wax and a 100% cotton squarebraid wick. The wick size is specific to the diameter of each candle, which is a part of making a candle longer burning. Other than pigment for the stars; no additives are used.
